The White House has touted several of President Donald Trump’s economic and domestic policy wins.

Vice President J.D. Vance used a White House event on Friday to highlight that his administration’s special task force, the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, has identified $230 billion in fraud and prevented $56 billion in fraudulent payments.

During Friday’s cabinet meeting—held following President Trump’s remarks at the first-ever televised cabinet gathering at Camp David—Vance provided an update on the task force’s efforts. The initiative is implementing a whole-of-government strategy to combat fraud.

Vance credited Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler, and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Douglas Collins for their roles in uncovering fraud.

Trump also noted that Minnesota, California, and Maine have the highest levels of corruption, stating, “The level of corruption is incredible.”

Vance added, “We’re going to keep on working at it because we believe the American people deserve to have their money spent as you, the Congress, have directed.”
