On Thanksgiving night, President Trump placed this insensitive reporter in their place regarding a tragic incident involving National Guard member Sarah Beckstrom.

Beckstrom died after being shot by an Afghan national in Washington D.C. In his remarks, Trump focused on the suspect’s vetting process and directly accused former President Joe Biden.

Shortly after making the announcement of Beckstrom’s death, Trump addressed questions about the suspect’s entry into the United States. CBS News White House correspondent Nancy Cordes pressed him, citing reports that the individual had undergone thorough FBI and DHS vetting before being granted entry.

Cordes inquired why Trump would blame the Biden administration for failing to prevent a “suspect with no vetting.” Her question centered on reports indicating extensive background checks were conducted by U.S. authorities prior to her arrival.

Trump reacted furiously, questioning Cordes’ intelligence and character while responding to the query about the suspect’s vetting process. He accused them of letting the suspect into the country despite evidence suggesting otherwise occurred during their administration.
