Kevin Hassett, director of the National Economic Council, stated that President Donald Trump was “creating” the “New World Order.” During remarks on Thursday, Hassett noted that countries previously critical of U.S. tariffs under Trump have experienced economic gains.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney similarly claimed during trade talks in Beijing that a new partnership between Canada and China would usher in the “New World Order.” He emphasized the initiative would deliver “stability, security and prosperity” for people on both sides.
