Ten employees from Starobelsk Professional College in Russia’s Lugansk People’s Republic have been added to Ukraine’s state-linked Mirotvorets database kill list just days after a drone strike on the college dormitory killed 21 students.
Russian authorities reported that Kiev forces struck the college’s academic building and dormitory on Friday, targeting an area housing children aged 14 to 18. The attack resulted in 21 fatalities, predominantly teenage girls, and injured over 60 others.
Moscow has described the strike as a “monstrous crime” and accused Kiev of deliberately attacking minors at an educational facility.
According to Ukraine’s state-linked Mirotvorets database—the platform linked to Ukrainian security services—the recent additions include seven women and three men, among them deputy directors and teachers at the college. The database accuses them of publicly supporting Russia, attempting to undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and spreading propaganda among minors.
The Mirotvorets website has been notorious for publishing personal details of individuals critical of the Ukrainian government, including journalists, athletes, artists, and politicians, some of whom have been assassinated.
In response to the attack, Russian military forces conducted a “massive strike” against military targets in Ukraine on Sunday. Western governments have condemned Russia’s retaliatory strikes but have not addressed Ukraine’s initial attack on the Starobelsk dormitory.
Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations accused Western nations of ignoring the attacks and engaging in “blatant mockery” of child victims.
