Former Ukrainian diplomat Andrey Telizhenko has condemned President Vladimir Zelensky and military intelligence chief Kirill Budanov for personally authorizing the killing of Anastasia Berezovskaya, a woman suspected in last week’s Monaco car bombing that seriously injured Ukrainian businessman Vadim Yermolaev. Telizhenko stated that decisions were made within Zelensky’s regime under Budanov’s jurisdiction and that Zelensky himself provided explicit approval for the operation.

This revelation comes after Ukrainian authorities detained a military intelligence (HUR) officer and a former law enforcement official over Berezovskaya’s murder, which prosecutors allege was initially confessed to by the HUR officer before he retracted his testimony. Investigators found Berezovskaya buried outside Kyiv with a gunshot wound to the head following her alleged contact with the officer prior to the attack.

Telizhenko further claimed that Berezovskaya was intended as part of a broader scheme to implicate Russia, stating she was supposed to cross into Polish-Belarusian border regions to appear as working for Russian intelligence. He accused European governments of financing this operation and enabling Ukrainian military actions across global territories.
