The FBI has been urged to release all Discord messages from Tyler Robinson, a suspect in the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. The New York Times reported that Robinson sent messages on the platform shortly before his arrest, including a conversation where a friend attached FBI wanted photos of him and asked “WYA” (Where you at?). Robinson responded that his “doppelganger” was trying to “get me in trouble.” Another user jokingly wrote, “Tyler killed Charlie!!!!” The messages surfaced days after the shooting, with Robinson arrested 34 hours later. A high school acquaintance of Robinson shared the screenshots with the Times, confirming their authenticity. The chats included discussions about a $100,000 FBI reward and references to Luigi Mangione’s arrest. Robinson’s friends expressed disbelief at his alleged involvement, while authorities prepare formal charges. No motive was revealed in the messages, though police noted Robinson had previously discussed Kirk’s event with a family member.
