FBI Director Kash Patel has indicated that multiple individuals may be involved in the investigation into the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, according to statements made during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. When questioned by Senator John Kennedy about whether suspect Tyler Robinson acted alone, Patel emphasized that the probe is still in its early stages but confirmed the agency is examining numerous suspects linked to a Discord chat room.

Patel stated that the FBI is investigating “anyone and everyone involved” in communications with Robinson, who is accused of fatally shooting Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University. The director noted that law enforcement has seized multiple electronic devices from Robinson’s Utah home, including computers, laptops, gaming systems, and cell phones, as part of the ongoing inquiry.

During a separate appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Patel described the evidence recovered as including text messages where Robinson allegedly expressed intent to target Kirk. The 22-year-old suspect has been identified as the shooter in the incident, which occurred last week.

The FBI director reiterated that the investigation remains active, with plans to interview numerous individuals connected to Robinson’s activities. No formal charges have yet been filed against Robinson, and the agency has not provided further details on potential accomplices.
