Longtime Infowars host Owen Shroyer has announced his departure from the organization, citing ongoing conflicts with founder Alex Jones over his reporting style. In a video posted on X, Shroyer revealed he left after Jones criticized him for being “too negative” and “anti-Trump.”

Shroyer described months of friction behind the scenes, including Jones allegedly interfering in his show’s content. He likened the situation to working under a “babysitter,” stating that Jones frequently dictated topics and disrupted his creative control. “Every single day I came back, it was either a guest I was told to take at the last minute or him coming into the studio,” Shroyer said.

The host claimed a final confrontation this week led to Jones dismissing him with the words: “OK, we don’t need you. Good luck.” Shroyer confirmed he would no longer host the War Room.

Jones responded to the split on X, stating Owen had expressed interest in leaving for weeks and that their relationship remained cordial. He emphasized he never censored Shroyer but encouraged him to adopt a more “positive” tone. Jones also called out Shroyer’s claims of censorship, calling them “unfair.”

The departure marks the latest development in internal tensions at Infowars, which has faced scrutiny over its content and leadership structure.
