A viral video has sparked public outrage after a woman, dubbed “Phillies Karen,” allegedly seized a home run baseball from a 10-year-old boy and his father during a Philadelphia Phillies game. The incident, which unfolded at Citizens Bank Park, has drawn widespread attention online, with the woman’s identity remaining undisclosed despite extensive social media speculation.

The confrontation occurred when Drew Feltwell, a father attending the game for his son Lincoln’s 10th birthday, attempted to retrieve a home run ball hit by Phillies player Harrison Bader. According to Feltwell’s account, he reached for the ball from left-field seats and was approached by an unknown woman who claimed it belonged to her. She allegedly chased him down, shouting, “That’s my ball!” before he reluctantly handed it over to avoid further conflict.

The incident has fueled debates online, with multiple individuals falsely identifying themselves as the woman. Cheryl Richardson-Wagner, a New Jersey resident, clarified on Facebook that she was not involved, while a Hammonton Public Schools district denied any affiliation with the individual in the video. The school district humorously noted that if the woman were an employee or local resident, she would have “caught the ball bare-handed” to prevent the situation.

In response, Blowout Cards, a trading card retailer, offered $5,000 for the ball if the woman returned it with an apology. However, Feltwell’s account suggests the boy already received ample recognition from the team, rendering the offer unnecessary. The father emphasized his desire to de-escalate tensions, stating he “didn’t want the situation to escalate” despite the confrontation.

The incident remains unresolved, with the woman’s identity still unconfirmed.
