Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani has been released from the hospital after being hospitalized for injuries sustained in a car accident in New Hampshire. The 81-year-old was discharged three days following the incident, during which his rental vehicle was rear-ended at high speed. According to a statement shared on X, Giuliani suffered a fractured vertebra and multiple cuts and bruises, including injuries to his left arm and lower leg.

The crash occurred after Giuliani and his business associate, Ted Goodman, stopped to assist a woman in urgent need of help. They remained on the scene until emergency responders arrived. Giuliani expressed deep appreciation for the support he received, thanking the New Hampshire State Police, paramedics, Elliot Hospital staff, and medical professionals who treated him.

The announcement of his discharge followed President Donald Trump’s recent decision to award Giuliani the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
