New court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein have been unsealed, showing that President Trump contacted Palm Beach police in 2006 regarding Epstein’s criminal activities.
The documents indicate that Trump was one of the very first people to report on Epstein’s operations and advised law enforcement to focus on Ghislaine Maxwell, whom he described as “evil” and referred to as “the operative.”
During the call, Trump stated that he had distanced himself from Epstein, saying he “got the hell out of there” when teenagers were present. He also added that “people in New York knew Epstein was disgusting.”
A lawyer for an Epstein victim confirmed during a press conference that Trump was the only high-profile figure who provided assistance to law enforcement. The attorney stated: “The only thing I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who picked up the phone and said ‘lets talk, I’ll give you as much time as you want, I’ll tell you what you need to know.’ Trump was very helpful in the information he gave and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward but had good information that checked out and that helped us.”
The lawyer also noted: “He helped me. He got on the phone with me. He told me things that were helping our investigation and our investigation wasn’t looking into him.”
