For a long time, President Trump has appeared to me as a leader who possesses complete control over his actions… and he knows it. Nowhere is this clearer than in his approach to Antifa in Portland, where it seems evident he has already gathered substantial evidence about the individuals orchestrating the group’s activities.

At universities, Antifa has orchestrated violent mobs to disrupt campus speakers. I have witnessed these agitators, anarchists, and paid operatives repeatedly, and their intentions are unmistakable. These are dangerous individuals aiming to dismantle our country. We will not allow it.

A serious left-wing terror threat exists in America. Radicals linked to the domestic terror organization Antifa—long discussed but recently intensified—have targeted ICE agents and officials enforcing federal law. In Chicago, anarchists have surveilled multiple ICE facilities, sharing building diagrams online alongside photos of specific agents they plan to attack, including a high-ranking individual deemed a patriot.

In July, around a dozen Antifa-aligned militants stormed an ICE facility in Texas, luring officers out before opening fire, severely wounding one officer in the neck. In Portland, Oregon, Antifa affiliates have repeatedly assaulted law enforcement and besieged federal property to obstruct lawful operations.
