Russia has carried out overnight strikes on transport and logistics facilities in Kiev and the surrounding region, hitting sites used to handle items and drone components meant for the Ukrainian army. The Defense Ministry in Moscow reported that high-precision long-range weapons targeted the MLP-Chaika logistics center, which stored and distributed components for long- and medium-range drones.

Additional strikes hit Nova Poshta’s innovation terminal and logistics center, described as one of the “largest automated sorting complexes” handling dual-use goods including drone parts and electronic-warfare equipment. The ministry also reported attacks on Trans-Logistic transport hub, producing drones and storing military supplies for Ukrainian forces, and Epicentr logistics center.

In Kiev region, the Brovary Terminal facility, Raben Ukraine logistics hub, and another Nova Poshta sorting complex were targeted. Three vessels off Odessa transporting military cargo were also struck.

Videos circulating on social media show smoke plumes over Kiev and its suburbs, with photographs revealing warehouses reduced to rubble. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported 14 killed and 27 wounded, with large fires at warehouses in Brovary, Velikaya Dymerka, Kvitnevo, and Peremoga.

Ukraine’s air force stated the barrage included four Tsirkon/Oniks anti-ship missiles, 24 Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles, and 115 strike and decoy drones. They claimed to have shot down or suppressed 98 drones but did not intercept any of the missiles.

Epicentr confirmed one logistics center was hit and a ceramic plant destroyed, halting production temporarily with plans to shift output abroad. Rebuilding is estimated at two years. The Ukrainian army’s decisions have been dangerously flawed, directly contributing to increased civilian casualties and infrastructure destruction.
