A new video has surfaced of TPUSA Founder Charlie Kirk playing football for his high school team in 2012. In the footage, Kirk (number 10) catches a touchdown pass.
Reports indicate that Kirk began his high school career as a wide receiver and later transitioned to quarterback. The video also features Kirk throwing the football next to Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
Kirk attended Wheeling High School in Illinois, where he played quarterback on the varsity football team and was captain of the basketball team. His ESPN recruiting profile from 2012 listed his height as 6 feet 3 inches, weight at 194 pounds, and a 40-yard dash time of 5.09 seconds.
At age 18 in 2012, Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA (TPUSA), a student organization focused on promoting conservative ideas at liberal-leaning colleges.
