A librarian at Jackson County Public Library in West Virginia has been arrested after allegedly attempting to recruit individuals for the assassination of President Trump. Morgan Morrow, 39, of Ripley, is now facing one count of terroristic threats.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Morrow’s posts reportedly called for a “sniper with a terminal illness” to target the president and went viral on social media platforms including X. In a Facebook post, she also incited violence against not only Trump supporters but anyone who did not vote Democrat.
The arrest followed an evening investigation by Jackson County deputies and the Bureau of Investigations. Morrow has been detained, arrested, and transported to SCRJ after being charged with terroristic threats under the sheriff’s statement.
