The FBI has arrested two Massachusetts men linked to an explosion at Harvard University’s Longwood Medical School campus. The incident occurred just after 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the Goldenson Building at 220 Longwood Avenue in Boston. A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer responding to a fire alarm witnessed two masked suspects fleeing the scene following the blast in a small section of the fourth-floor hallway, according to Harvard officials. The officer attempted to intercept the pair before proceeding to the fourth floor, where the explosion had occurred. No injuries were reported, and officials confirmed the building sustained no structural damage, remaining “fully operational.” Surveillance footage released by HUPD depicted the suspects wearing masks and head coverings as they fled the area. Harvard leaders emphasized in a message to the medical school community that the affected hallway was cleared and ready for use, with all labs and equipment intact. Cleaning crews were on site to prepare for the upcoming work week.
