A 30-year-old man named Brian Cole Jr. is reportedly obsessed with My Little Pony, creating online content that includes violent themes such as a pony depicted with an M60 machine gun and bionic leg braces.
The individual, who uses the username iDeltaVelocity on social media platforms, uploaded 87 images of My Little Pony fan art to one forum. The artwork features characters with long, multicolored manes in pink or purple hues.
In a post, a “Star Wars”-inspired pony states: “I’m not ‘cute,’ I’m deadly,” a line the individual claims is from the video game “Star Wars: The Old Republic.”
A Tumblr account associated with Cole’s online presence commented on one of his drawings of a pony wielding an M60 machine gun, writing: “Eh… I’d give her an RPG. What can I say? Explosions are COOL!” referring to rocket propelled grenade launchers.
Cole also reportedly wrote fan fiction that combines My Little Pony with horror elements, including a scene where Applebloom awakens to find “zombified ponies” rising from the ground and their bodies rotting.
According to sources, Cole has been known to wear My Little Pony backpacks and was previously teased by high school classmates for his fandom. The individual is part of the “Brony” subculture, which in 2017 had enough followers to host annual conventions. However, none of Cole’s posts were found to contain sexual content.
