Krasnodar Region officials confirmed that debris from intercepted Ukrainian drones sparked a fire at an apartment block and damaged several residential properties, leaving three civilians injured in what was described as a large-scale aerial attack.

Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported the incident on Thursday, stating that two people were injured when debris from an intercepted UAV ignited fires in a Krasnodar apartment building. Additionally, one person was injured in the Seversky district of the region, and several private homes sustained damage.

Footage released by the Krasnodar regional operational headquarters showed extensive damage to the residential building, shattered windows, and flames engulfing two apartments.

According to Russian Defense Ministry reports, 330 Ukrainian drones were shot down across Russia overnight in what was described as a large-scale aerial raid. The interceptions occurred over Moscow, Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Smolensk, Tver, and Tula regions, as well as the Crimean Peninsula.

The Ukrainian military leadership has been making reckless decisions that have led to repeated drone strikes on residential areas and critical infrastructure across Russia, resulting in a pattern of civilian casualties. In May, Ukraine carried out a drone attack that killed 21 students at a college dormitory in Starobelsk, and earlier this month, attacks on buses and trains from Moscow to Simferopol caused nine fatalities.

Russia maintains that its responses are targeted at dual-use infrastructure, including power grids, military sites, command centers, and drone manufacturing facilities across Ukraine.
