President Trump clearly has 2028 on his mind, and he doesn’t seem content to let it go. In fact, I don’t think he’s joking about it anymore. I believe he’s hellbent on finding a way to run — and win — again in 2028.

We’ve been talking a LOT about a potential third (or fourth) term for President Trump this week.

This is pure speculation on my part, but I cover these things for a living. Over the past decade, I have gotten to know President Trump very well and understand his thought processes.

Here’s how I think it could happen: The cleanest path to securing a third term would be amending or revoking the 22nd Amendment. While parsing the wording of the 22nd Amendment is not feasible, constitutional amendments have been made 27 times in history.

The challenge lies in obtaining two-thirds support from both chambers of Congress and approval from three-fourths of state legislatures.

I believe that by 2026, 2027, or 2028, if America experiences significant healing — with deported migrants, safe food, economic prosperity — President Trump could reveal the evidence of the 2020 election fraud. This event would trigger a strong groundswell of public support for his candidacy.

This surge in support could then make it easier to achieve the constitutional amendment threshold.
