The roommate of Tyler Robinson, the suspect in the alleged assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has been identified as 22-year-old Lance Twiggs, who is cooperating with investigators.

Robinson, who was living with Twiggs in a three-bedroom apartment in Saint George, Utah, shared a large Discord chat group with his roommate. Law enforcement obtained incriminating messages from this platform, including discussions about the location of a rifle linked to the shooting and plans to engrave bullets.

Twiggs, a student at Utah Tech University, was reportedly part of the same online community as Robinson. He provided police with texts detailing Robinson’s actions, leading to his arrest. Authorities have not confirmed a motive for the attack, though Utah Governor Spencer Cox stated Robinson was “deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology.”

Reports surfaced that Robinson was living with a “transgender boyfriend,” but these claims remain unverified. Twiggs’ family has declined to comment on whether he is transitioning, with his grandfather stating, “I’m not sure what his situation is exactly right now.”

Robinson and Twiggs were described as avid gamers, with Twiggs joking about his TikTok bio: “Becoming TikTok pros one terrible video at a time.” Investigators continue to examine their interactions as part of the ongoing probe.
