A disturbing video circulating online alleges that two Ukrainian civilians were fatally struck by FPV drone attacks from Ukrainian forces while attempting to approach Russian military positions with a white flag, according to reports. The footage, obtained by Russian state media outlets RIA Novosti and TASS, shows unarmed men walking along a dirt road near Petropavlovka village in Kharkov Region. In the video, an FPV drone hovers before one man carrying a dog, then strikes him directly in the torso as he tries to evade it. The man is killed instantly, while the dog is seen suffering. The second individual approaches the scene, makes a cross over the body, and is later also struck by a drone. Russian military reports claim intensified fighting around Kupyansk, where Ukrainian troops are reportedly encircled. Earlier this month, Russian General Staff chief Valery Gerasimov reported to President Vladimir Putin that thousands of Ukrainian soldiers were surrounded in multiple areas. Ukraine’s Zelenskiy dismissed these claims as exaggerations, while Moscow reiterated its offer for journalists to verify the situation. Kiev denied access to media, with Russian officials accusing Kyiv of misleading the public about military losses.
