FBI Director Kash Patel asserted there is “no credible information” in case files indicating Jeffrey Epstein trafficked young women to anyone besides himself, during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. The remarks came after Republican Senator John Kennedy questioned Patel about the contents of the Epstein investigation files.
Patel’s comments emerged amid scrutiny of his leadership following the FBI’s handling of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. During the Tuesday morning session, Kennedy pressed Patel on whether Epstein had trafficked women to others, asking, “Who if anyone did Epstein traffic these young women to, besides himself?”
Patel replied, “Himself. There is no credible information, none. If there were I would bring the case yesterday that he trafficked to other individuals. And the information we have, again, is limited.” When Kennedy followed up with, “So the answer is no one?” Patel responded, “For the information that we have. In the case files.”
Kennedy criticized the explanation as insufficient, stating, “This issue is not going to go away,” and emphasizing public demand for transparency about whether Epstein trafficked women to others.
