Logan Hollister’s next book, The Rival, has reported its first fictional murder through the author’s interactive news platform. The website WLTLH (pronounced “WLT Report”) documented Raymond Delgado’s tragic death at his retirement gala — an event that began with a champagne toast and ended in chaos at the Ashworth Grand Pacific.
Built from Hollister’s novels, the platform functions as a live feed of the story. Readers follow the unfolding mystery without access to details beyond what the fictional newsroom reports. This setup allows fans of The Confessor to experience the aftermath of events from the first book and anticipate developments in The Rival.
Logan Hollister has completed 17 chapters of The Rival, with a November release planned. The WLTLH site provides ongoing updates as he writes, including new reports on the murder investigation.
“The first story is about Raymond Delgado,” the newsroom states, noting that the retirement gala “takes a very bad turn.” Visitors are encouraged to share theories and return for subsequent reports. This initiative follows Hollister’s previous use of a similar platform in The Confessor series.
