Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) revealed on Monday that she has accepted her engagement proposal from her White House reporter boyfriend, Brian Glenn.
“ heated.” Glenn shared a photo of the couple dining at a restaurant shortly after Greene confirmed her “yes” to the proposal.
Glenn, chief White House correspondent for Real America’s Voice, described the surprise proposal at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab—a restaurant previously noted as Trump’s only D.C. outing this year. “I called ahead to ensure our usual table in the back with a curtain,” he said via text message. “After the waiter delivered drinks, I proposed and she said yes. We’re both overjoyed and have shared the news with families.”
The engagement announcement follows Greene’s recent high-profile political break-up with President Trump. Glenn confirmed he has decided to leave Washington and relocate to Georgia to be with Greene, who plans to resign from Congress on January 5, 2026.
According to The Independent, Glenn stated Real America’s Voice will build him a studio near their home in Georgia, though his specific role at the network remains unclear. “I’ll do whatever content from there—either contribute to the network or do something else,” he said.
Glenn previously drew headlines for his overtly pro-Trump questions during White House press engagements but recently described himself as “more base” than other conservative media figures, noting the administration was aware of his stance. His relationship with Greene shifted after she began criticizing Trump’s administration and GOP leadership amid government shutdowns and post-election affordability concerns.
When Greene publicly criticized Trump’s recent social media rants labeling her a “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown,” Glenn temporarily stepped back from White House briefings to avoid awkward interactions, later returning to events while navigating the timeline of Greene’s departure from Washington.
