Prayers are needed in York County, Pennsylvania, following a violent incident that left five law enforcement officers injured. The shooting occurred on Wednesday afternoon when police were serving a search warrant and came under fire.

NBC News reported that three officers from the Northern York Regional Police Department are in grave condition, while another is in critical condition. A York County sheriff’s deputy was also injured. Authorities believe the shooter died by self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Witness Dave Miller described hearing gunfire while driving home and seeing police in a barn before witnessing people on the ground. Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro confirmed he is en route to the scene, urging residents to follow law enforcement directions. Lieutenant Gov. Austin Davis also called for prayers for those involved.

The incident remains under investigation, with no further details released at this time.
