Actor Tom Holland was hospitalized after a mishap during filming of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” sustaining a mild concussion and temporarily halting production. The 29-year-old actor, known for his role as Spider-Man, was treated and released following the incident, which occurred on the Pinewood Studios set in London. A stunt double involved in the scene was also hospitalized but has since been discharged.
Production at Leavesden Studios in Watford, Herts, was suspended Friday, with filming expected to resume September 29. Sources confirmed the pause would not affect the film’s July 31, 2026 release date. Holland’s father, comedian Dominic Holland, acknowledged the delay during a charity event in Mayfair, where Tom and fiancée Zendaya, 28, were present. No other crew members or cast members were injured in the accident, which took place amid the film’s London-based production phase.
