According to Fox News, a Trump administration official was physically assaulted by a “deranged leftist” at the U.N. General Assembly this week. The incident involved an official working in international relations for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly told Fox News Digital that the individual was followed into a bathroom, recorded, and verbally accosted by the suspect, who allegedly breached multiple layers of security. “Thankfully, the official is safe, and the lunatic was arrested, but this is part of a disturbing and dangerous set of failures by the UN after their sabotage of President Trump ahead of and during his speech,” Kelly said. She added that the U.S. Secret Service will investigate how the protester entered a major national security event.

A source familiar with the case told Fox News Digital that the suspect, Patricia Schuh, was charged with assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. She was released from custody Friday night but is scheduled to appear in court on November 13. A U.S. UN spokesperson condemned the attack, stating, “This attack must be addressed swiftly, and consequences must be felt.” The spokesperson noted that the UN has “lost its way” following the incident.

Mario Nawfal reported that the official, who was supporting HHS Secretary RFK Jr., was followed by a woman shouting “fascist” and “Nazi” while being illuminated with a bright light. The woman followed her into a bathroom stall, placing a camera over the door as she continued to scream. The encounter lasted approximately 10 minutes before the official escaped.

The New York Police Department confirmed that Schuh, a 62-year-old woman, was arrested after the incident occurred Thursday shortly before 6 p.m. A 41-year-old female victim reported facial pain and swelling, receiving on-site medical treatment. The investigation remains ongoing.
