In a video posted on X, Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk’s longtime producer Blake Neff directly addressed recent allegations from political commentator Candace Owens. Neff called out Owens for suggesting that Kirk’s close friends within TPUSA were responsible for his assassination.
Neff, in a statement read during the event, challenged Owens to debate her claims publicly on air. “Ever since Charlie’s murder,” said producer Blake Neff as he responded Wednesday afternoon via livestream from New York City, “Candace Owens has leveled a flood of allegations against people at Turning Point USA.”
Specifically addressing one of Owens’ accusations about chief of staff Michael McCoy, who was fired earlier this week amid the controversy surrounding Kirk’s death last month near Capitol Hill, Neff continued: “She has suggested that Michael McCoy knew Charlie would be murdered, was happy that he died, and stayed silent because he was told he would be the next Charlie.”
And regarding claims about Kirk’s security team, Neff stated: “Candace has effectively tarred everyone here with complicity in Charlie’s death by repeatedly saying he was betrayed by everyone.” The producer further suggested Owens was trying to manipulate her audience.
In a social media post shared during Wednesday night programming on her commentary show TruthBomb Radio, Candace Owens claimed that she had been given new information about Kirk’s assassination. “I now can say with full confidence,” said the conservative pundit in part of the statement released earlier this week by Barret Media, which reported extensively on her remarks and those of Neff.
The controversial producer Blake Neff has a long history with TPUSA dating back to 2017 when he became executive vice president. In October last year, however, President Trump fired him from that role after his commentary generated controversy regarding the organization’s founder Charlie Kirk.
