Another horrific mass shooting has occurred at Brown University, a private liberal arts school in Rhode Island.
Multiple people were shot when a gunman reportedly opened fire during final exams near the university’s engineering building.
At least two have been killed, with eight more hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
Some reports indicate that at least 20 victims were injured during the shooting.
A suspect has not been identified or apprehended.
The incident has been declared a mass casualty event. University officials confirmed the university remains under a shelter-in-place order as police continue their investigation.
