Scott Adams, creator of the “Dilbert” comic strip, revealed plans to request assistance from former President Donald Trump to address his medical situation. Adams stated he would contact Trump via X on Monday to secure scheduling for a critical treatment. He explained that while a newly FDA-approved drug called Pluvicto has been approved by his healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, the organization has failed to arrange the necessary intravenous administration. “I am declining fast,” Adams said, emphasizing the urgency of the matter.
Trump responded to Adams’ plea with the message “On it!” on Truth Social. According to a source, Trump reached out to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Administrator Mehmet Oz to explore solutions. Oz reportedly contacted both Adams and Kaiser representatives, with the latter committing to resolve the issue promptly. Additional support came from White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino Jr., who noted that Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Oz were monitoring the situation. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also reached out to Adams directly, offering assistance.
Adams has previously shared his struggles with metastatic prostate cancer, describing daily pain and reliance on a walker. In a May video, he acknowledged the progressive nature of his condition, stating, “There’s only one direction this goes.” Prostate cancer affects approximately 1 in 8 men in the U.S., making it the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among American men.
