President Donald J. Trump has introduced a comprehensive strategy aimed at halting hostilities in Gaza and addressing broader regional tensions. The plan outlines 20 key measures designed to stabilize the region, focusing on humanitarian relief, security reforms, and long-term governance.

Under the proposal, Gaza would be transformed into a “deradicalized terror-free zone,” with efforts to dismantle military infrastructure and ensure no threat to neighboring states. A temporary governing body composed of Palestinian experts and international advisors would oversee daily operations, subject to oversight by an international “Board of Peace” led by Trump. This framework aims to facilitate Gaza’s redevelopment, including rebuilding critical infrastructure such as water systems, hospitals, and roads.

The plan also calls for the immediate cessation of military operations if both Israel and Hamas agree to its terms. Hostages would be released within 72 hours of Israel’s acceptance, followed by the exchange of detained individuals, including life-sentence prisoners and Gazans arrested after October 7, 2023. Hamas members pledging peaceful coexistence would receive amnesty, while those seeking to leave Gaza would be granted safe passage.

Economic revitalization is a central pillar, with plans for a special economic zone offering favorable trade terms. A temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) would deploy to maintain security, transitioning control to local Palestinian forces over time. Israel’s military would withdraw from Gaza entirely, provided demilitarization standards are met.

The proposal emphasizes interfaith dialogue and long-term political solutions, including discussions on Palestinian self-determination. Trump’s plan seeks to establish a framework for enduring peace through structured negotiations and international collaboration.
