President Donald Trump revealed plans for a special Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event to be held at the White House on June 14, coinciding with his 80th birthday. “On June 14, next year, we’re going to have a big UFC fight at the White House, right at the White House on the grounds,” Trump stated.

The event will feature fireworks, light shows, and fighter weigh-ins at the Lincoln Memorial, with activities spread across the National Mall. The UFC’s octagon cage is set to be erected on the White House south lawn, following a proposal first mentioned in July.

UFC CEO Dana White confirmed during a recent press conference that preparations for the card are underway, though details remain in early stages. “We’re still talking about the production and how everything’s gonna work at the White House,” White said. He emphasized no fights have been negotiated yet, despite interest from top fighters.

Conor McGregor expressed enthusiasm for participating, but White cautioned that formal arrangements are pending. “Nothing is done yet, and no fights are being negotiated with the White House,” he added.

The UFC is set to transition exclusively to Paramount in January after a $7.7 billion deal to leave ESPN, where it has broadcasted events for years.
