An arrest warrant has been issued for actor Tyrese Gibson following allegations that his dogs attacked and killed a neighbor’s pet in Atlanta. Fulton County Police Captain Nicole Dwyer stated the warrant for cruelty to animals stems from an “ongoing issue” involving multiple complaints about Gibson’s dogs.

Court documents reveal that Gibson’s four Cane Corso dogs were seen roaming the neighborhood and allegedly killed a cavalier King Charles spaniel named Henry. The incident occurred when Henry’s owner let the dog out at 10:02 p.m. to use the bathroom and returned five minutes later to find the animal dead in his driveway. Medical reports indicated Henry had blood on his rib cage, broken ribs, puncture wounds, and severe internal bleeding.

Security footage from a neighbor’s home showed four Cane Corsos running toward Henry’s residence. Later that evening, another neighbor reported the dogs at her door, preventing her from accessing her vehicle. Animal control responded but could not immediately remove the animals.

Dwyer emphasized the community’s safety concerns, questioning what might happen next if large dogs continue to roam freely. “What’s next? A child?” she said. Police stated they had issued multiple warnings to Gibson prior to the incident and attempted to cite him before the attack, but he was not present at his Atlanta home.

Gibson’s attorney, Gabe Banks, stated the actor is cooperating with authorities and made the “difficult decision to rehome his dogs to a safe and loving environment.” However, police issued a search warrant for Gibson’s property on September 22, only to find him and the dogs absent.

The incident follows another attack on September 18, when a neighbor’s small spaniel was killed after being left unattended in a yard. The four Cane Corsos were later seen near a nearby residence, prompting another police response.
