DALLAS – A violent incident occurred at a Downtown Suites motel in Dallas on September 10th. The alleged murder involved Chandra “Bob” Nagamalliah, the motel manager, and resulted in his beheading.

Police reports indicate that Yordanis Cabos-Martinez, who was employed as an employee alongside Nagamalliah, became embroiled in a heated argument with the victim earlier that morning at the motel located on Samuell Boulevard. According to witness accounts gathered by law enforcement, tensions escalated rapidly when Cabos-Martinez reportedly attacked Nagamallaiah with a machete following this altercation.

The 37-year-old Cuban man is charged as an illegal immigrant and has made his first court appearance in Dallas. His attorney, Lalon Peale, sought clarification regarding potential charges under the state’s capital murder laws, while prosecutor Julie Johnson informed the court that the District Attorney’s office would not pursue the death penalty at this time.

The incident details are considered extremely graphic by authorities involved in the case.
