Earlier, Trump addressed military leaders assembled in Virginia, proposing the use of U.S. cities as training sites for armed forces and emphasizing military strength to counter what he termed “invasion from within.” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reiterated efforts to eliminate “woke” culture within the military, introducing new physical fitness standards for troops.
